I have a remote starter and heater block MY 2008 cobalt. Is it true when the remote starter is connected to my block heater use?

Sure. No connection between the block heater and remote start. When the engine coolant starts to circulate around the heater is not hot enough to burn to win. I do it all the time. It is unhelpful to have to pull the heater first. May as well start the vehicle if it is there. Bob
